Clive Barker discusses and demonstrates his use of physical games to teach acting skills. Tape one shows exercise games done with a class to help students discover how to relate to other, to use motion to explain emotion and make a scene come alive. He talks about emotional memory in the body. Tape two deals with the conflict category of games, domination with body language and eyes. Barker summarizes by explaining that "relationship exercises" work so that when the body is put in a certain position, the mind will begin to work in a certain way. |
